General information
The hose reel is designed for operation and use of 700 meters of 2” Black Eagle hose.
The main frame consists of main corner posts, lifting eyes, fork pockets, drip tray and collection tray. The secondary structure contains the main bearing, hydraulic motor brackets and safety barrier with hatch at the connection point for the Black Eagle hose.
The spooling device is mounted for Top Spooling in a fixed position and has an automatic spooling function with the possibility of manual override. The guide rollers can be opened hydraulically so that the Black Eagle hose fitting (10k flange) can be easily lifted in and out of the unit.
Hydraulic proportional valves control the drum, both in and out, as well as override and manual control of level wind position, opening/closing of level wind roller and in/out of A-frame.
The drum has one main bearing on one side and one main gear with hydraulic brake and hydraulic motor on the other. In the middle is a high pressure swivel with interface connected to Black Eagle hose on the drum.
Both the hose drum and A-frame can be remotely controlled using a zone 1 radio controller.
The position of the A-frame is adjusted by hydraulic cylinders equipped with counterbalance valves.
A banana disc with locking hatch is installed on top of the A-frame for side installation of Black Eagle hose.
