Supplier Code of Conduct

Our report according to the Norwegian Transparency Act.
Social sustainability
Foreword from the CEO
Hytech AS defines corporate social responsibility as responsible operations with respect for people and the environment. Hytech AS’s corporate social responsibility guidelines describe the overarching principles for how the group’s companies should take into account human and employee rights, health, safety and environment (HSE) and anti-corruption. The guidelines are based on the UN Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the Norwegian Transparency Act.
We believe that high ethical standards are good for society and good for business. We have committed to following such standards throughout our operations, and our corporate culture should also be characterized by this. The guidelines have been adopted by the boards of the reporting business areas and apply to the entire group, including wholly owned subsidiaries.
In addition to the right price and quality level, it is important to maintain the sustainability perspective for the goods and services we deliver. We work actively with our own operations and partners to minimize negative impacts on social conditions, the environment and people.
In our work going forward, we will, among other things, increase our focus on ensuring decent working conditions for our employees who work on assignments, while also looking more closely at the need to strengthen our management system for the working environment and work towards certification within ISO 45001.
We experience that the work the company has put into working with human rights and decent working conditions is well received by those we collaborate with and provides a good basis for further improving conditions internally in the company and in our supply chain of which our customers are a part.

Due diligence assessments
This report is built around the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the OECD’s Due Diligence Model for Responsible Business.
The model has six steps that describe how businesses can work towards more responsible and sustainable business practices.
Being good at due diligence assessments does not mean that a business does not have a negative impact on people, society and the environment, but rather that the business is open and honest about challenges and handles this in the best possible way in consultation with its stakeholders.
This report summarises the work that the company has completed in 2024 and where we prioritise further work going forward to minimise significant risk.

Hytech has developed a code of conduct “” and expects our suppliers to comply with our ethical principles. Information on consequences and negative risks identified in the company’s due diligence assessments
Hytech AS delivers services in Norway where human rights are well-established in law and widely implemented in society. The regulations provide strong mechanisms to safeguard both individual and collective rights. Given the scope of our activities, we consider our direct social impact to be limited. Our main impact is related to matters that concern our own employees as well as our suppliers and partners. It is therefore in these relationships that we have our greatest responsibility and opportunity to promote fundamental human rights and decent working conditions. Through Hytech AS’s established due diligence assessment processes in the company, we have analyzed a number of areas and conducted risk assessments to identify the most significant risk areas.
