Seamless Recruitment and a Refreshing Path into a New Job

The Sandnes-based company Optimarin AS has hired several new employees over the past couple of years, and four of those recruitments have been carried out by Hytech Personnel.

CV screening, candidate mapping, and interviews are completed before a potential job is even announced. This process often leads to a quick and accurate match, where the right candidate is presented to the right company and position.

“We avoid the weeks of waiting and uncertainty that often come with traditional job applications. Here, we are selected and promoted by people who know us and want to find a position that truly fits. It gives a great sense of security, and we know much sooner if there is a match since the groundwork is done before we meet a potential employer,” say Tina Haugan Hansen and Christin Ellingsen, who both landed new jobs at Optimarin through Hytech Personnel’s recruitment method.

Both had spent a long time applying for jobs in the traditional way. “For me, it took just one hour from the interview to being hired. I was thrilled,” says Hansen. Ellingsen agrees.

“The first impression during the interview was very positive. I immediately felt I could fit in well at Optimarin, with friendly and cheerful colleagues in a pleasant, informal work environment. I was quickly presented for the position here,” she says.

Bodil Broch-Austvoll, Head of Logistics, HSEQ, and HR at Optimarin, has made four hires over the past two and a half years in collaboration with Hytech Personnel. She is very satisfied with her new colleagues.

The collaboration with Hytech Personnel began through a good old-fashioned sales meeting with Cathrine Silgjerd Leiros, Department Manager for Leadership and Administration at Hytech Personnel AS.

“We hit it off right away. At the time, we did not have any openings, but later, when the need arose, I thought of them. Now, four hires later, we are very satisfied,” says Broch-Austvoll.

“When we search for candidates, it is important that they bring real value to the company they join. We truly enjoy influencing both the process and the results of a recruitment,” says Cathrine Silgjerd Leiros.

Øystein Kristoffersen Hansen had been working as a freelancer in advertising and design but began to feel the need to be part of a team. He applied for a job at Optimarin, which caught his curiosity, and it turned out Hytech was responsible for the recruitment process.

“The meeting with Hytech was very pleasant, they made it easy and natural to be myself. They are good at seeing who I am. At Optimarin, I was warmly welcomed. People here are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the company culture is truly something special,” says Hansen.
